Introduction

Cement output in the 1^st quarter of 2009 made 66.8 % comparing to the same period of 2008. At the same time the import fell by several times. Weak demand in domestic market pushes Russian manufacturers to export. But in this case State support is needed: export duties cancellation would allow Russian cement being more competitive in foreign markets. The irony of the situation is that the majority of the decisions which could support the market do not need much investment but the authorized signature only. The objectives of the seminar are to analyze the market situation, to get the most interesting ideas on Russian cement market development in 2009-201, and to find the ways of the consumption growth stimulation and construction resumption. The seminar will be the floor for the establishment of new business relations between cement buyers and sellers.
